I'm partial to the deleted scene of Mal/Operative at the end. "If you're still standing there when that engine turns on, you never will know."

May not be smart, and it may not please you, but you're definitely gonna see what I have to say.

Not a problem, Dayve!

I think it's worthy of being mentioned twice. But then, they all are.

dang, I forgot a couple more I love:

"Yes, I've read a poem. Try not to faint."

"And don't ride in anything with a Capissen 38 engine, they fall right out of the sky."

I believe that line would be "Like a downy feather, Sir."

Makes a bit more sense to me that way...

There are too many great lines in the BDM to pick just one, but I will offer up one that no one else has mentioned. The line is not that great in and of itself, but its strength is in Adam's delivery.

"Hey! I'm talkin' at you!" as Mal is walking away from him during their talk after rescuing Inara.

As for a purely visual scene, my favorite is just before the Reaver attack at the end, as we see an overhead shot of Zoe loading her gun. Her actions are so deliberate you know what is on her mind, killing as many of them as she possibly can to avenge Wash.

Lines - "The thought had crossed my mind..." and the "I am to misbehave" speech.

Scene - River's two fights, in the bar and at the end. Wow.

Unexpected.

I looove that shot of Zoe. Absolutely beautiful work in that scene, on the part of Gina Torres (sp?) and Joss. There are other Zoe scenes like that (mainly in the show), with no actual words but deliberate actions that clearly portray what she's thinking, what her intentions are, etc. ... but that one is my favorite.

Gorramnit, I've discovered the art of the double post. Errors = double posts, apparently. My apologies!
