Need help with windows and firefox

Help!!! I just reinstalled windows, but I installed the german version... AND IT'S SO FUCKING UGLY!!!!
Everything looks so diffrent and I keep searching for ever. And it looks ugly!! Its just... I think it causes eye cancer or sth (cause it looks so ugly).
Anyway, does anyone know how I can change the language (it looks ugly)? Windows is probably too stupid, but firefox maybe? Probably not though. Since they already have a version of ff in each language it would take the programers approximately 20sec to give you the option to choose languages, but somehow I have the feeling that you can't anyway.

Now to the question - I have a question - why did you install the German version?
Have you tried control panel/date time region? There is an option in there to set the language used when booting. I am not sure if it will do what you need.

You should be able to go into your Control Panel and use the Regional and Language settings to change the language to English (or whatever you want).

I thought with all the spamers in here I'd get the most replys in troll country.
The region settings don't work. They change some trifle things like how the time is displayed (am/pm) and stuff like that. I tried all the options in region/language settings. Nothing helped.
When I installed firefox on the american version it was all in english, now with the same exe file it's in german. So the english language files are definetely somewhere in there, I just need to find a way to activate them. Couldn't find any option though. It's so typical, they think they know what you want so they don't even consider giving you the option to choose

Firefox I assume will take its information from Windows and you loaded a foreign lnaguage install. You may have to dump it and start over.
