Hello all I just started watching my TiVo'd episode of the 4400 (USA Network) and thought I'd let everyone know that Summer Glau is guest starring...somebody else may have posted this earlier but I didn't see it. From what I have seen so far she has a big role, not just a quick appearance. It came on at 9 eastern time but you west coasters could catch it.

Also USA runs repeats of the new episodes a couple of times a week but I'm not sure when.

Yes, Summer was pretty cool. This is actually the first time I've seen her play someone who isn't crazy, which is interesting because in her first appearance she was, well, crazy. But yeah, she was cool. Sweet. A liitle villianous. Gotta love Summer. :-)

I just watched it (re-airing at 12 on the east coast). I loved it! Watched the pilot, didn't care for it. Watched this episode b/c Summer was on, and now i love it! Plan to watch every week. Summer's character was great. Very good to see her play someone not crazy, and she does it very well. She's a good actress.

Awwwww, Summer. We love you. How great was she, and so pretty! My sister and I both did the gasp! when she first came on, we were not expecting the sane and lucid-ness. Nice surprise. And the ending, so cute. I hope we see more of Tess.

And if there's anyone who's been watching this season- How sick are you of Isabelle. I'm a more than a little over that storyline. Evil - we get it. We lost Lilly for her? Let's bump her off and bring Tess on as a "full-time" character.

I'm with you on Isabelle; Tom should have killed her when he had the chance.

Summer was reaaly great in that episode. In a lot of her other roles she plays child-like, but here she was very grown up, I think. And I thought her relationship with the doctor was very cute.

Yeah you'd think the PTB will be calling Tom on not killing her yet, hopefully soon. We're wondering when Jordan is going to make his re-appearance too.

It was great to see River all in control and powerful without the craziness.

For those of you who want to see more of Summer not being crazy, I made a video of all of Summer's scenes from Angel - Waiting in the Wings episode:

Here's the setup. Her character, the prima ballerina is trapped in time by a wizard that loved her obsessively. She did not feel the same about him, she had her own lover, Stephan.

Stephan had asked her to run away from the ballet company with him, but she hesitated because dancing was her life. The wizard, Count Kerskoff, found out about her lover, and to punish her, he took her out of time and into a world he created with his powers.

She's trapped in time and have been performing the same ballet for a 100 years, over and over. You will get the gist of the story from the dialogue.
