Vile, evil mall.

I would be, but I'm in NYC so I'm going to that one instead. It's a really nice movie theater though. And if you get there early there's a lot to do in the area. Have a blast!

One day.
One plan.
One army of Browncoats.

On June 23rd, we aim to misbehave.

I'm going to try to make it. I live in Harrisburg, so it's a bit of a hike. If I can't make it:

HAPPY SERENITY DAY!!!

Time for some thrilling heroics.

Wow that sounds great. I'm a little late in responding to this, I sorta forgot my password for about a month. But anyway I wasn't even able to go that night, I wish I had now. Were there a lot of people there? I seem to always miss these things, I'll have to organize a firefly gathering myself that way I'll actually get to go.

He makes everyone cry he's like a monster.

These are just a few of the images we recorded....

http://community.livejournal.com/fireflyfans/779831.html

Top pic: the turnout (which, as you can see, was satisfyingly huge. )

Middle pic: the raffle prizes. There were comic books, Browncoaty collectibles and such in the bags.

Bottom pic: them as dressed for the occasion. (I'm on the far left, as Maladjusted as can be. )

Aye, it was a blast and three-quarters! Say, Zap, you have any further thoughts about organising a Shindig? We've about two months left to Serenity Summer, so I'm trying to figure out how and where to get one together.

Shiny. Is that how you're all feeling?
Then perhaps Mal Reynolds IS in your best interests as captain.

Waaaaah!!! *jumps up and down and points*

I just saw the photo's you posted on the LJ account! And in the final pic its me on the far right!! The girl in the t-shirt that says "Time for some thrilling heroics!" *I know I dont really belong in the picture but no one told me that it was cast and crew only!*

*Blushes bright red from embarrasment*

So I apologise for the unintentional blooper in you pic.

That was a really awsome event though!!! Again many thanks!!!

You were an awsome Mal BTW. And Zoe*Allison I think* and the Doc were also cool. I didnt get to really talk to Ginny though.

Um...if you need any help with event organising I'd love to know if I can help out in any way if at all possible! If you'll let me that is.

Kay. Im babbling now so Im gonna go before I say something stupid!

Steamer,

Thanks for posting those pics it looks like there was a healthy turnout, that makes me happy.

As far as a shindig is concerned, I pretty much have one all planned out except for the where, when, and how part, little details.
But seriously I'd love to get something together if you've got any ideas.
And if we can't get a shingdig together then maybe a hootenanny, or a box Social? Just throwing it out there.

I'll be in my bunk.

Nah, hey, don't worry about it. The guys in the back row were wearing 'Serenity' T-shirts, the one behind me was semi-dressed as Wash - in my opinion T-shirts count as dressing for the occasion, so you were fine. Hell, I'm ecstatic just that you came! Ginny even more so, I'm sure - we're overjoyed that you were able to make it.

Haha, thanks! First time I was really in maximum Mal mode that night; though I think I scared the living daylights out of that poor girl dressed as Kaylee when she came in, I went over to her and went, "KAYLEE, what in the sphincter o' hell are you playin' at??!?!?" Oh, what fun we all had.

Yeah, a location is the stumbling block that I keep hitting, too. Gonna take a little brainstorming, though there might be some spots in suburban Philly where we could scrounge something up....For the pics, any time! Yeah, they were a great crowd. Mighty fine Shindig.
