I can sympathize. This summer has been so lonely for me. My parents just got divorced, my sister's unstable, my aunt died, I couldn't get a job, and just to top it all off, I got into a car accident tuesday...

Thank god for Firefly.

And Out of Gas especially. I think you hit the nail on the head, FollowMal... this episode, its all about family, and damn it, family feels so comofortable sometimes, something I miss so much, that it tears your heart out.

That is what I love about Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer: They makes you feel.

it covers so much back story on our BDHs
it threatens our Captain and the ship
and Mal's final line to the crew...
'will you still be here...'
(I should look up the exact words)

such an incredible episode!
