Although I respect the need to expend vast amounts of energy toward swattage, I might humbly recomend a natural alternative to the eradication of flies which enables the continuation of sitting.

Spider! Then again, given I'm a certifiable-as-a-nutter arachnaphobe, sitting becomes problematical, given the presence of spiders in any room shared by my ownself.
