There I can agree...

Operative: "I'm a monster. What I do is evil."

You only saw it now? *blinks* *looks at TheRightStuff1 in amazement* *ponders at what "jr" says* *blinks again* *shakes head*

He was evil when the film began and doing the Devils' work at stealing from poor people at the bank.

*blinks* Oookaaay...I didn't realize that stealing from a security company (or any other group) is considered "Devils' work."

Quote:

He would have his final destination sealed but the Operative saved him.

Meh? How did the Operative "save" Mal or anyone else? The Operative fanatically murdered and ordered the death of thousands of people just to "acquire" River. He held people hostage, attempted to blackmail Mal, and was the aggressor in several instances within the movie.

Quote:

They made this part up at the end like the Operative was lost in his way but thats just to let Mal be the hero. The Operative was the hand of God and made everything allright for the crew. He saved the crew. They would be dead if not for him!

How did they "make up" the part where the Operative was "lost"? He admitted in the movie that he was "a monster." Speaking of which, isn't murder a sin? Widespread genocide, especially outside of a war is currently grounds for a) the death penalty in some locations or b) facing a war crimes tribunal. The Operative himself pretty much admitted that he was lost in the sense that he was "...no longer their [the Alliance Parliment's] man" at the end of the movie.

How can the Operative be a "hand of God?" He admitted to being a "hand" of the Alliance Parliament. Last I heard, no government is "God"...and "God" being with a government/country or not, that still doesn't mean God == government.

Okay, I'm lost. How exactly did the Operative make everything "all right" for Wash? Wash is dead. How did the Operative make everything "all right" for Shepherd Book? The shepherd was murdered on the Operative's orders. As for the rest of the crew, I doubt that any of them would have claimed that "patching up" their wounds they suffered to be able to broadcast evidence of the Alliance's treachery against their own people as making everything "all right."

Quote:

President Bush is like the Operative. Hes' the hero and you won't know it until the end and then you'll see I am correct in saying all this.

Hrm...Let's see...You might be right...Let's see:

*GWB has ordered men and women into a war that has lead to the deaths of thousands of people for an idea that he is quite fanatical about. Yep, just like the Operative or Alliance Parliament, but not anything hero-like.
*GWB has kept his hands clean of shedding blood and directly torturing and tormenting those he's after. Nope, not like the Operative, more Alliance Parliament-like, definitely not hero-like.
*GWB "is a hero"...According to records, GWB did all that he could to avoid being drafted in the Vietnam war, joined the Texas Air National Guard, and went AWOL after refusing to get his physical. *Buzz!* Nope. Sorry. Not Operative-like, nor hero-like.
*GWB has been caught on camera doing behaviors that could be considered sexually harassing. Nope, not Operative-like, nor hero-like.

I'm not here to talk so don' t write anything to me but there's' always a chance for a few and most on this site are white so that helps.

*blinks* Um...Okay...Since you've never met me and I'm responding to you using English in complete and coherent sentences does that mean I'm white?
How can you tell? Other than my nickname here, which only tells you that I understand another language, what information here tells you what color my skin is, what my eyes look like, or anything else for that matter?

*glues tacks an other assorted pointy things to a rock*
Excellent deconstruction, Neko! Not that logic works on these types.
*throws rock*
That doesn't always work, either, but at least the results are immediate.
