Hard to argue with "The Untouchables" at Numero Uno. Costner, De Niro, Connery and a young Andy Garcia -- not to mention Billy Drago who was so repugnant as Nitti that I wanted to make him "wait in the car" -- all of whom totally immersed in their characters...

...But we're getting beaten by "The Brady Bunch Movie"?!?

If y'all don't vote us up past that rancid piece of gobbidge, I'm disowning the lot o' yuz...

"Charlie's Angels" is a full 6 percentage points above "Serenity". WTF!?

Guess I really should have listed Connery first, since he won the Oscar for his untouchable performance. I don't think any other TV-to-movie has won an Oscar (other than technical/background, perhaps)... ETA: "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut" was nominated tho' did not win for the song, "Blame Canada". How funny is that?!? (Hi, Nat & Jewel!)... ETA (again): TL Jones won (and merited) an Oscar for "The Fugitive", too. meh.

Serenity is getting killed on the vote, but the only movies ahead of it on the actual list are legitimately VERY good movies. Of the 4 ahead of it, only the South Park movie is not among my favorite movies overall, not just from TV shows. Good showing for Serenity, I would say. The demographic that Serenity appeals to is much smaller than that of Untouchables or The Fugitive. And although Star Trek is also Sci Fi, it goes without saying that it has a MUCH bigger following than Firefly. And Wrath of Khan is a helluva movie, ya gotta admit.

Okay, Charlie's Angels just SUCKED. Can't say that I've seen the Brady Bunch movie, or the South Park movie, because I don't care. How did those movies beat out Serenity?
