Joss fan in DVD trouble

So, I have the full series and Serenity on DVD. Recently though I have been looking back at my collection of Buffy discs.

I have the old seasons 1-5 but Im really really tempted to get my hands on the 'chosen' box set of all 7 seasons. But that would be quite the cost, even if I could sell the ones I have for a few bucks.

Does anyone have the set? Is it worth it?

My understanding is that it's exactly the same discs as the season sets, plus one disc of bonuses...

Personally, I'd say no, it's not worth it, if you only have two seasons left (hey, same here, let's be friends). That's a lot of dough for only one different disc.

I own all seven seasons, which I bought at different times. I'm told the chosen collection is pretty much the same, so it's not really worth splashing out. You'll get a much better deal on collectors editions of the last two seasons, as a lot of people sold theirs to get the chosen collection.

The Discs for the Seasons are all the same. The only difference is the one extra disc. Get a friend to buy it than copy his/hers.

I see no reason to avoid the discussion in the General area...

personally I bought each of the Buffy DVDs as they came out, and I wish I had the big 'Chosen' collection!

I only own Angel's season 5, but I've been thinking about getting the rest of them.

Ofcourse I own TWO copies of Firefly & Serenity!

IMO, these sets that have little to no extra value are just a cash grab by the studio.

So, I'm with Dataless. Buy the last two seasons and "aquire" the extra disk and save yourself a sizable chunk of cash.

From what I've heard, you really aren't missing out if you don't get to see that extra disk. In fact, if you ever go to conventions they tend to show those things there.
