"Don't Fence Me In" even though it's folky, it still reminds me a lot of the BDH. Also, Godsmack's "Serenity" has a certain Mal feel to it.

Great song & it reminds me so much of the episode "Out of Gas".

Someone on the boards here once posted a video he put together with scenes from Firefly/Serenity to the song "If Everyone Cared" By Nickelback. It was really well done and the words fit perfectly.

I know its slightly obvious and it would be a bit rubbish if it didn't, but Escape Key did a really good job with "Mal's Song", they took the theme tune and added verses, and it really captures his essence.
