We got a good one staring us right in the face so to speak-and it's true-Nathan's backside. Swirled over by dust by SciFi and obscured by the computery special effect later as he walks up the ramp. What conspiracy is this?-depriving the heterosexual women of the world a nice rump roast.

Combined with the s and f word in Chinese, Zoe and Wash in their bunk, Jayne,Kaylee and Simon, Inara's lesbian scene for the guys and lesbians (what part of "I'll be in my bunk" don't you understand?)and River naked in a box, and VIOLENCE AND TORTURE it covers just about everything.

You know, I would have thought the naked River scene, the naked Mal scene, and the various naked Inara scenes would be enough to keep any hot-blooded human interested. Not to mention shirtless Simon and Jayne. Of course, I think anyone who actually sees the series can't help but love it, the problem is the staggering number of people who haven't seen it.

Oh I love a good urban legend. Msg yours totally made me giggle, however it seems more soap operay the urban legendy. We should come up with a really good viral type urban legend. We just need to figure out how to best disseminate it into the general population. By the way I'm loving anything that sticks it to F#x.

Firefly already IS it's own urban legend, namely "The Myth of that One TV Show that Everyone Seems to Have Heard Of but No One Has Time to Watch." Sorry if that's a bit pessimistic, but another potential convert seems to think he has no time to slip in the DVD I wanted to give him. And he's a political science major, you'd think he'd appreciate the future the show displayed.
I'm not letting him get away.

No, I am not insane, I am crazy. Thank you for asking.

Oh - I got one!!

The executive at F**X () who had the series axed before it screened was under pressure to justify this, so he consulted several occultist practisioners - including Tarot readers and at least one medium - and mathematicians from Cal Tech to decide in which order the episodes had to be shown to gain the poor ratings he so desperately wanted! Add to this the rumour of a love/relationship interest with someone (anyone) who either was replaced on Firefly or was facing the end of their contract on Buffy and you get something quite plaussible - after all I have never heard of a realistic reason why the series was shown out of sequence in the US first time around...

NB(I have no idea what Cal Tech is but it's usually referred to in American films when justifying some theorem ()

Oh - my back hurts - goin' to lie down some more before I get into this again... Magda x x

He he he ... not that I'll be doin' any standin on my head at the moment... but I'd like to see that!

Maybe just some subliminal cut in's... or faint but just audible...

Objects in Space: Kaylee and Simon in the coridoor just after Simon's said he'll take River off the boat (we hear "Simon you're the one that I want...OhOhOh") then Shepherd Book interrupts.. ("Stranded in the Firefly...feelin' like a fool..." - there could even be subliminal 'good dogs' dancin' in the background for that) OK - I've seen Grease way too often!!
