Welcome to the verse Callahan !!!
Sit a spell and enjoy the place, If FollowMal hasn't given ya a coat yet she will in a bit. We got a feast going as usual in the kitchen. You've seen the place and people so welcome aboard. Suppers in 10 and I gotta head back to the Gorram Picket line.

Braedan, always better with more Canadians. =P
Hera...hm...Texas. Good friend of mine from university lives in Texas when he's not up here during the school year. Thanks for the welcome.
Can't wait to receive my browncoat.

Egad. Canadians get everywhere. No matter how you try to defend against 'em. Some of them pretend to be American, you know...
Welcome. I'm a Brit. I'm rude to all Colonials.
(In my defence I was once engaged to a Canadian. It was a strange and scarring experience...)

Welcome, Callahan!
I see that FollowMal hasn't caught up with you yet, so let me offer you one of my patched-up, brushed-off, previously-loved browncoats from the repair shop. It won't fit like FM's, and definitely doesn't have that new-leather smell (don't ask!) but you're welcome to use it as long as you like.
Just drop it off in the storage locker when you've got your official coat, so the next new recruit can use it. I can generally correct for any wear and tear you put on it. Well, try not to bleed too much.
A good share of my relations hail from the Great White North, including a few around Toronto and others out west in Sask. I'm guessing some of the hides permaybehaps came from out that way.

I'm pointin' right at it!

Ahoy Callahan and Welcome Home. It's
right shiny to have you aboard this
vessel.
FM's real busy trying to get volunteers
in the HELP! thread (go look -- it's
about boosting and coordinating the signal)
and I'm not sure how much hanging out
she's doing among the threads looking
for new personnel.
The temporary coat looks shiny enough
for now.
How about some permanent strawberries,
not to be lent or dusted off or passed
along? Come on up to the galley where
your very own dish of berries sits waiting
alongside some of the finest food in the
'Verse!
