Lol, fans in europe... hey, I'm in europe! What a coincidence! Using me a £ British £ keyboard and everything! For... about a week. Hehe. Nah, I'm just visiting family in Ulster, I'm a California guy.

But I just couldnt pass up the "fans in europe" title.

Go to the german board there is a thread in the Firefly board section where meeting point etc is stated

edited to add: Ah I see you already have been there... if Munich is too far, I will be trying to set up a Cologne meeting again not too far in the future

Okay, firstly I'm ~very~ impressed with your knowledge of some Irish, Considering most people over here barely speak it!

I'm from Dublin, lived there my whole life. I live in the suburbs, very close to the Dublin Mountains. It's also close to the city, which is useful.

I've heard of the event but it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it. *sigh* I'm pretty busy at the moment, but hope to be able to travel to an event in the US in a year or two. So the events had better not stop! Hope the stars are still able to make it too.

Hey, another Irish fan here, one of many. I just found irishbrowncoats on yahoo with a google search but on sending an e-mail I got the reply that it's no longer up and running
Does anyone know if there are any irish shindigs or are we scattered sheep at the moment in need of a shepherd (the spirit of Book is alive and well). I can't make the con in September but I was at the London film con with Nathan and Alan - Great!! They are SO cool and such honestly nice guys. But what we really need is another IRISH con. Come on guys, we're the second richest country in the world or so they say. Someone's bound to have a rich uncle who will bankroll it!

Direkt aus Frankfurt am Main. Neuberg ist ein bisschen abgelegen, oder? Wenn ich Map24 glauben kann, Wetterau, nähe Ronneburg (schonmal dort auf einem Mittelaltermarkt gewesen?)

Früher war ich da öfters. N Kumpel von mir hat mich da immer mitgeschleppt. Vielleicht kennst du ihn sogar, in der Metal/Mittelarte Scene is der schon fast ne Berühmtheit *g*. Heißt Metal Boris und rennt da immer mit Schottenrock rum.

Und ja Neuberg is nich nur n bisschen abgelegen. Da setzten sich die ganzen alten Leute zur Ruhe :(

Don't know of any Irish shindigs, but keep an eye out for the unlikely society in Dublin, a sci-fi club based in Dublin that advertises most Irish conventions. From memory, I think their address is www.lostcarpark.com. I don't get to hang out with them much, but they're a nice bunch.
