Oh, I have no doubt it's a blast to take the blank thing and pull it together how you like it - but that would require skill, something I am duly lacking.

How much did it cost, if you don't mind me asking?
I would love to see photos. Lots of really detailed ones that I could use as a guide if I ever do get my own.

$185.00 including shipping.
I've got it mostly painted, but I have to seal it now...when I get the time. I will post pics, though, just may have to keep reminding me every now and then
Holding until you get back, Captain.

Got a few pictures of the painted pistol uploaded...I think I have some more touch-up to do, but I'm not sure...I kinda like the way it turned out.

Oooooh! [groans in heartfelt longing!] I WANT one! Also, beautifully painted! A real labour of love!
Don't think I can afford it though

Since I'm actually trying to mock up a Zoe costume I was thinking of roping in a friend who is a professional miniature modeller to help me make up Zoe's Mares Leg gun. Don't suppose someone has any screenshots or piccies of a replica that I can work from? Worth a shot!

*Where* did you get your cast? Can you please give me an address or a link?
Thanks!

Petranf, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you...
I bought mine directly from a gentleman selling them on eBay. I did not buy it through eBay, I contacted him via email. He does not have anymore. There is a board called invisionzone.rpf where one of the guys who cast these originally posts. His name is Phillipes (or something similar). You may want to try there as well as checking eBay every now and then.
Hope this helps some.

Alright, so I snagged a replica model of Mal's gun and I am faced with two delemas:
1. Where to find an accurate replica of his belt and holster?
2. I don't know nothin' about painting resin models. Give me a pewter figure and a brush and I'm shiney, but this is out of my scope of expertise.
So, any help anyone can give this guy on either of these topics will be greatly appreciated.
