woo! Food thread again.

You want that steak with a cajun rub, a little teriyaki or a particularly evil bbq sauce, involving fresh chili and a deal of JD?

Or garlic and parsley butter, peppercorn sauce or just crispy shallots?

SpaceAnJL- I think a nice bernaise would really liven up the steak ( though it seems a bit rare) and maybe crisp flash fried parmesan red skin potatos, and some fresh asparagus.

oooh pirates...such interesting people my fave is Anne Bonney:)

I choose to rise instead of fall- U2

Ooh--asparagus wrapped in parma ham, then baked in cream and parmesan.

Try sweet potatoes done with a grain mustard and mixed peppercorn butter...

(I had a healthy salad for lunch - bleh!)

ooh I have a recipe for sweet potato souffle..it's to die for. I was thinking potatos are such an expected side dish. Maybe something like a mix of wild and whole grain rice with herbs would be better...hmmm

Hmm. This is better with lamb, but - couscous, done with shallots, and an apricot/cumin/mustard sauce stirred through.

Or home-made garlic bread, the type with the biohazard warning on it.
