EDIT: darn, too slow on the draw. Yes, I have been in dramas- a Christmas play when I was 8 and another when I was 10 and then various school Shakespeare performances.

I really wish I were swordfighter. I'd just about die from happiness if someone could teach me how to use a Celtic longsword. Or a claymore, but I don't think I'd have enough height or upper body muscles to do that.

TPBM knows what a claymore is and why it takes height and upper body strength to use it.

Mine is an evil sugar high laugh! Bwahahahaha!

Yep, both of which I lack.

TPBM has been aboard a 'tall ship.'

As a matter of fact I have been aboard the (replica) of the Lady Washington when it came through Astoria Oregon once. This was back when I lived in Seaside, Oregon. The Lady Washington has quite a history

ok, so TPBM has owned one of those Zartan action figures & actually waited 15+ minutes for him to change to blue. (sorry this is left-over from a lunch discusstion)

Um...no idea what you are talking about...so "no, I have not".

RMMC, I have had the honor of sailing aboard the Elizabeth II as a "crew" member in the summer of '96...quite a rush it was!

TPBM thinks it's about time for winter to hit.

I was thinking fall, actually.

Tristan, that's just awesome! I'm jealous...but then I also know I couldn't do that as I get severe seasickness.

I got to go aboard several in Detroit a few years back when the city was celebrating it's 300th anniversary. They were in port for a week or so and then a month later I saw half of them again up near Alpena. I fell in love with each and every one of those ships.

TPBM has named their car after a character in the BDS (Yeah, my car's Serenity )

No...I don't actually own any Star Wars books...

RMMC, I am jealous of you! Besides the EII and a few in Europe, I have not been on many tall ships...I would have loved to have seen the ones in Detroit!

TPBM has seen POTC II

Aye, matey, that I have, that I have.

Tristan, if ya get up the the lakes (Huron, Superior, etc...those lakes), I think there's some that come through every year. They don't stop in Detroit, but I believe they do at points further north, like Bay City, Alpena, etc. (Hmmm...note to self: check the Bay City Times online.)

I gots pictures of all of 'em....somewhere. which reminds me....

TPBM has hundreds of pictures that need to go into photo albums (like me )

Absolutely...I am trying to scan them all...but it's a heck of a project!

RMMC, if you have pictures, I would love to see them...and now I have to plan a trip up North...

TPBM has more pictures and music on their computer than they do on paper and CD's.
