I have long held the hope that if and when a 10th planet is designated that it would be named Persephone, and it has nothing to do with Firefly.
That is what Arthur C. Clarke called his 10th planet in Redezvous with Rama.

(And, symbolically, Persephone is a flawed name for a planet: Persephone spent half the year [spring/summer] in the world of the living, and half [autumn/winter] in the underworld. Logically, a planet named after her should have an elliptical orbit, regularly passing near the Sun, then returning to the dark, cold abyss.)

Actually it's more of an oblique Transformers reference:
My favourite TF is Sky-byte (because he's a reader and poet and I'm a [former] English major), who is a remold (or was remolded into, I'm not sure) a character called Cybershark. "Snark" is just my usual sense of humour (and I saw the shark/snark freudian slip elsewhere, so I just co-opted it for my own nefarious purposes [or nefarious porpoises]).
So, no, I'm just a sarcastic transforming shark-bot with literary aspirations.
(And now I'm thinking "Cybersnark and the Nefarious Porpoises" would be an awesome band name. . .)
