Ours is 9, and he's the current Juniors world champion. Having said that I still kicked his arse in pushing hands and in sparring I can pick him up bodilly from the floor and throw him in nettles...

Ok, i just had the wierdest night of tv ever, first i almost died laughing (i'm not kidding, breathing became a real issue) at top gear.
never thought i would utter that sentence.
but yes, Hammond, Clarckson and another guy who's name i didn't catch, decided to go on a caravan holiday.
oh my god. you'll never camp again. if you get a chance to see it do not pass it up, it was so bad.
then the other show was this guy, Bruce Parry, who goes and lives with african tribespeople for a month or so. mad mad man. just amazing, and the people were so funny, this particular tribe were insane though, they live in an arid region, so life is tough, added to that they're surrounded on all sides by enemy tribes, so they're lives a geared toward the killing of their neighbours. so you've got all these crazy playful kids and happy women and blokes who love sports (wrestling and spear throwing, that we saw) and the shooting of others is just completely natural, they're proud of their abilities and their bravery in just going and raiding other villages.
found it hard to get my head around that.

It's gratifying to know that there'll be someone about who can kick the snot out of me, should I get out of hand during conventiony shenanigans.
Oh... then again, most 9 year olds could do that anyway, even those without training in how to damage folk, so not much pressure on the martial arts experts.
Great blog, Citizen! I hereby challenge you to a tourney to prove whom amongst us qualifies as the worst pool/billiards/snooker/whathaveyou player, ever! I fear, though, that if you are indeed as awful as you claim, that we may have to resolve the issue by some measure that does not involve the actual completion of a game, which could, in theory, last until one of us, well, dies.

Oh I likes some pool. Unfortunately I don't know of any place around the Con at D*C to play. If we found a place, I'd be up for a game or two. and if we were attacked by 9 year old's we'd be safe.

yes, anything can happen and usually does. At least this year Seany will be there to punt the little ones away. That was so embarassing last year 
I'm so eager for D*C now. After getting in some more practice drinking, I think I might be ready for the main event.
