Star Trek and Star Wars have fans by the bucketload, far outpacing all the other sci-fi shows and even some sports teams.
I'm actually quite moderately favourable to Stargate. It's fun, doesn't take itself too seriously but can be dramatic, the cast have an obvious chemistry.
But I'd happily burn every episode of it (and Atlantis) for 14 more episodes of Firefly.

I'm one of SG-1's fans, not anything like I am with Firefly and I kinda stopped watching for a while (caught up in the off period) after O'neill left (he was the humor, it just wasn't the same)
