Yep, I am a ferret fan 
ever since I was really small, and I asked my dad a stupid question, and he replied: break-dancing ferrets (cuz he's weird like me), and it has become a long running joke in our house.
I have always wanted one.
Eagles may soar, but ferrets don't get sucked into jet engines.

So you don't actually have ferrets? Funny your dad should say "break-dancing ferrets," because ferrets will do this little dance thing when they are really happy. It's called the Weasel War Dance among ferret owners, but I've oftened refered to it as break-dancing, because that is sort of what it looks like.
Ferrets are truly wonderful and funny little pets to have, but they are also a lot of work. I encourage anyone to research what's involved before getting one. Wouldn't trade mine for anything though. They have to be the silliest creatures in the whole 'verse.

Smart though your boss was, I also think you deserve praise for applied Firefly quoting. Those versisms come in so handy sometimes.
