Hey just thought I'd let everyone know that Morena Baccarin is joining the cast of Stargate-SG1 playing Adria, the evil daughter of Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black, who becomes a regular on the series for the 10th season). Which premiered tonite.

Good for her, almost makes me wish I had cable.

Blarg, some moron made a comment on that linked page about how Firefly is dead and there's no more story to tell.... clearly knows nothing about Joss or storytelling in general.

Here's my rebuke because I dont care to argue with the SG fans' trolls. First off, two main character's deaths are, as joss has proven, not a means to end the series, death is part of life, and the remaining seven characters are plenty enough to hold another movie or two if not a series. And the miranda broadcast was never meant as anything more than a desperate attempt to spread the word, it may have destabalized the government, but it will probably spell more trouble for our crew in the future.

Most of all, the guy does not understand the point of firefly: Keep flying. That doesnt end no matter how big a movie there is.

I think that that is weird too...
I mean, Morena is in her early twenties...
but Claudia Black looks way too young to be her Mom.

But I've been watching SG1 when Claudia Black is on, so I'm thinking I'll be enjoying it even more w/Morena Baccarin!

Actually do also really like John Creighton...er, I mean Ben Bowder...but they haven't given him much interesting to do on SG1

Actually I think it is smart of them to draw in fans from Farscape & Firefly who are missing their cancelled shows.

but I agree w/you Whitefall:
ALL of our BDHs are signed on for any possible sequel (and I'm still betting money that something will happen within a year or two at most)
I'm sure there will be flashbacks of Book (telling his backstory)

And I'm possitive there will be dreamsequences of Wash (torturing Zoe)

But personally I'm also happing for clones and androids (maybe that's just me)

There is obviously nothing dead about the verse, the fact that Joss is busy writing another comic book shows that the stories are jumping around in his skull begging to get out.
Joss Whedon has no choice...he HAS to tell these stories, and he knows we want to hear them.
