Ertia slowly brushes one finger across her bottom lip. "Distracting? Uh..no...just um...resting..for a minute. Please don't stop on my account."
Deliberately, Pain sits up, straddling the bar across his shoulders before slowly pushing it skyward and lowering down again, his pectoral muscles rippling under his t-shirt. "You sure? Wouldn't want to keep you from hunting mutant-apes or nothin'."
Ertia just crosses her arms, and smiles, "No no. not at all. Please, continue. But don't overdo. Wouldn't want you to wear yourself out."
Galley
It's Shepherd Book who speaks up again, "The Alliance is after 13 and Ertia, are they not?"
Kaylee looks dismayed, "Shepherd! We can't turn 'em in!"
"Not exactly." Shepherd smiles as his plan formulates. "I think we should kill them."
"WHOA! WHAT?" Even Jayne seems to think that's a pretty gose idea.
"Call the Feds." Shepherd tells Mal calmly, "Tell them we have known fugitives who tried to take refuge on our ship. Make up something about a distress call. Tell them we'll leave them in the Alliance escape shuttle that they arrived in at specific coordinates."
He glances to Simon and 13, "I'll find Ertia and meet you in the infirmary. We're going to need enough parts and DNA to make it look convincing when that escape shuttle malfunctions."
13 gulps quietly, "Uh, parts?"

Okay, gang. We're almost ready for a new thread. I'll start it in the morning. (well, my morning, pst.) Feel free to work on getting us clear of this Alliance crap, so we can go do the scrapyard job in the next thread, 'kay?

*Pain smiles but says nothing as he resumes working out. Ertia bites her lower lip as she watches Pain's muscles move. She jumps as Book walks in and says*
Oh I'm sorry child I didn't mean to startle you.
*Book looks over at Pain working out, turns to Ertia and says*
I see you're busy watching Pain work out. I can come back later.
*Ertia stands up and says*
Oh no I was just resting. What did you want to talk to me about?

Out of curisioty: with so many people on board, and a limited number of bunks and dorms: do some of you have to sleep on the floor or has Mal installed a TARIDS behind one of those "unkown doors" we've seen?

John walked around the ship taking it all in. The shepard's strange plan. Kaylee dating an idiot. Of course, normally when Kaylee dates anyone I think he's an idiot. The Captain, he was a big mystery that could be solved so simply. Could he ever really gain the Captains trust. So many faces crossed before in different paths of life all ending up here. Serenity would certanly be an iteresting place
