The Beginning

Ok, so, let me just get mushy for a moment -

I have had a Crap few days. I spent all this time preparing for a job interview Ireally wanted to do well in. And I did bloody well! But I still got passed over for a total arsehole who nobody likes, and based on personality and attitude, and aptitude, should not have got the job. He got it, from what I can gather, because he just completed a management course. Which, ok, makes me feel better, as at least it wasn't his winning personality... but makes me think 'well, why bother with the whole charade of interviews and putting us all through them?'

My only consolation is the rather childish one that they'll soon realise their mistake, and i'll be long gone.

But then this evening came, and I spent it on the sofa sewing corsets and watching first Out of Gas and War Stories, then the commentary to War Stories. Boy they are funny. And now thenks to them, tomorrow isn't going to be such a task. Theres nothing like watching two guys act electrocuted to make you realise that not getting a crappy underpaid job in a crappy shop really means nothing at all.

I'm so much happier. So all together now.

as an aside, I've always pronounced Alans name with the 'y' sound. And he pronounces it with out, i.e. tu dick, or Two Dick. Wonder how many times he's used that as a comedy pick up line?

Now, on with the mega dousing!

Hey, sorry you got passed over on the job. Like you said, Their loss. There's always better jobs out there. And good call on letting the Firefly get you passed the bad.
