I really gotta wonder if tying a person's identity to their comments can really be considered an invasion of privacy when found through legitimate means?

The internet would probably be a much safer place if we were all more accountable for our online activities. Yes, I realize people can be more open and/or free from harassment when anonymous but, how often have you seen a good thread ruined by someone hiding behind their anonymity.

That being said, the validity of the info should be considered.

I would agree that it's not an invasion of his privacy. Especially if he doesn't care. And it was gotten by open legal means. If he didn't try to keep it secret how can we call it privacy...never mind an invasion
