wow, I hope when I go grey the colour is even half as pretty as that. Sadly my family stays their first colour to the very end, or goes salt n pepper grey. no fun.

The drummer? the one with like a long bob? cool, ok. And what kind of storm was that may I ask?

Your robot reminds me of you. You tell it to turn it stops. You tell it to stop it turns. You ask it to take out the garbage it watches reruns of Firefly.

Storm? Oh, the Beckett thing. Well, since the video, there's kinda been a raise in Vampire AU fanfiction and I think his character has gotten a sub-fandom(hell, he's the unofficial mascot of bandamnation at livejournal...lol).

Names? Fanfictions? isn't he just an extra in a pop video?

ah, youth of today. This is the final prof that i'm terribly out of touch. Now to take up pipe smoking and the transormation is complete.

Causal - that works better - I think the original line (wherever it was from) was actually 'hello sailor', or possibly 'sailor boy'

But seeing as your wife is so very pretty and sweet looking, I shall refrain from continuing the joke.

Amiton - you however are still fair game for the teazing* though - especially as after that crack about tights someone made, your now in full on Robin Hood get up. Hose and tunic and big silly romantic shirt and all.**

Never did I think that costume history classes could be put to such a good use...

**depending on the mood, its either the campy forest green costume of John Cleese in Time Bandits, or the slighly more manlier version to be seen in Prince of Thieves

Don't believe her! She's lulling you into a false sense of security.

I go away for awhile, and more faces show up! It is good to see all the shiny folk that I talk to! And yes, we are a fine looking bunch, eh?

FFH, thank you for sharing your family with us. And that's quite a mischevious look you have in the first picture...what were you up to?

Tristan, aren't you sweet. I'm probably just surprised to be photographed. I had a difficult time finding any recent photographs and they all, predictably, look haggard because I'm a long time cancer patient. I'm going through my third bout with cancer since 1999. What I have is rare and difficult to treat. So, all the photos are a few days out from chemo or surgery or something. And that's just how it is.

So, the joke is that I look pretty good for a dead woman walking! This is what my good friend Tammy tells me. It's a poignant statement because Tammy is in a wheel chair.

I keep telling the doctors that I'm going to raise my child to adulthood. I also work and live as much as possible. I probably work more than most people who are well because I need all of my leave for treatment.

Managing that means managing every bit of energy I expend and having my whole life geared toward doing well. I think about everything I do, everything I eat, every vitamin I take, that sort of thing.

Tristan, I love compelling characters. So, this starts with the compelling characters of Firefly and Serenity and goes on with the compelling characters of fireflyfans.net!
