The only thing critised was bad jokes. Which us crazy humans tell in stressful situations.

It was me... and I admit, it sounds like the most pretentious piece of crap ever written. But I wrote it very quickly, having seen the episode only once... if that makes it any better.

I only criticized some of the earlier jokes, because they were somewhat out of place. That is, some of them, not all. And only at the beginning. They also weren't jokes, per se, as much as corny one-liners. After the first half hour, the bad "jokes" vanish, and what little humor there is is very very funny.

And to tell the truth, that was all that I saw that was bad about the episode... that and some of the westernisms. Truthfully. And I consciously made an effort to find things to criticize.

There has also been a lack of glowing reviews for the pilot... which made me feel better about writing such a positive review... something which I rarely do.

For someone so articulate, I find it odd that the other reviewer enjoyed Dark Angel and hates Buffy and Angel.

Well, to each his own... but I just can't say I find myself agreeing with his opinion.
