You know I've been a member of this site for many months now. I never did recieve a virtual brown coat.... Though it is true I haven't been to this site in some months. I just hate thinking about weither or not we will see another movie or some thing.... I hate to think that the Serenity movie could be the end (though I don't think it will be ;) ). Anyways I am a Browncoat. I don't need one to be one. That just wouldn't be the Browncoat way....

I'm sorry you didn't get a 'coat, Rakarr. You're right when you say that you don't need a virtual browncoat to be a Browncoat. All of us are by virtue of our love of the show, crew and movie.
It's just a nice gesture to tell new folks howdy.
Glad to see you back on the site! I hate to think that the movie will be the last we see of the 'verse too. I don't think it will be. Our numbers are growing everyday. I believe that if we keep telling folks about Firefly/Serenity and we keep working to make our voices heard that we'll see another movie, or a mini-series on SciFi, or that someone will pick up the show.
SciFi is having a marathon of Firefly again July 14th. I got my SciFi magazine in the mail yesterday and they have a small ( but it is there!) blurb on Firefly again. They just keep supporting us in small and not so small ways.
I believe they are watching. I'm gonna continue to give them something to count and see.

As for the SSC, I'm a player.
By the way, just so we can all be reminded of the power of our outreach to folks, the person I sent the BDS and the BDM to *last* - a person of fine literary and dramatic taste (natch!) - inhaled the series within a week and then watched the BDM for the first time and re-watched it with the commentary on, all in the same evening. Ain't the kind of behavior folks normally expect from us late-50's/early-60's age-group, but there you have it. You get given a gift like these stories, you take it serious!
