calling all lurkers, and ppl who are new to the 'verse

Hello all, I'm not sure if i'm doing this right or not but here goes. I've been a lurker here for a while and have become a very big fan of the verse. Seen the movie bought the firefly dvd set I just wish I had found the show when it was on television (a bad divorce at the time of its airing) but i'm wearing out those dvd's now. I am now ready to join the browncoats and to do my part to get more of the verse we all love and enjoy.

I couldn't possibly have said it better than that! (Though, my guilty pleasure is American Idol - the only reality TV I find worthy of watching.) Question for you all: What do "BDM" and "BDH" mean? I've been seeing those around and I can't quite figure out their meaning, though I conjure the first one has something to do with the movie (it seems to be used in place of it, as far as I can tell)...
