Hello, Firefly fans. I wasn't completely sure I wanted to join in here as I'm a (very) new fan and I figured I'd be a bit out of place... but, this thread encouraged me to go ahead.

I just want to say that this show is INCREDIBLE and I'm so sorry I never knew about it while it was actually being broadcast.

A couple friends of mine (huge Firefly fans) showed me the TV series and Serenity and I'm so glad they did. I admit I was a bit confused at first, but that faded as I was sucked into this amazing world and I absolutely love both Firefly/Serenity now. I've only seen one Firefly episode so far, but I cannot wait to see the rest. The writing on this show is phenomenal and the characters are wonderful - the only show I've ever seen that can beat Firefly/Serenity in those areas is Everwood (and, yes, I'm still mourning its cancellation. Why do all the best shows get the boot?!).

Long live Firefly/Serenity! <3

Edited to add: I have to admit, I did a bit of an injustice to my Gilmore Girls with this one... it at least ties with Firefly.

I have de-activated my Lurking Device (I believe that's Cling-on technology) after observing for years. I was never even anonymous.
Firstly, obviously, I must say: Do not fear me. Ours is a peaceful race and we must learn to live in harmony. Secondly, (equally obviously) I must say do send round that hootch. That's bracing!
According to this-here fantastical gizmo, complete with it's spectacular array of lights, the thing in the egg is quite tasty. If you toss it in the soup and give everyone a little, it eases the resentment caused by ScrewTheAlliance's vacation. Harumph. Well deserved though it is. (Eighty-three gorram chapters!) Still, I have AMDOBELL's lovely body (of work) to cuddle up to.
Also, does anyone else suspect that FollowMal is really an ancient sent to watch over us?
Speaking of whom, might I have a coat now, it's awful cold in the black.

Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

Yes. I have wondered Troll country and it is spooky. But I found they are beleavers so will respect their ways. I have been posting for a month or so and enjoy the banter. Must say I have learned alot and this makes viewing my DVD's for the umtenth time extra special.

Hi Illosin! As SaveWash has said, Followmal should be about with your coat soon (I'm thinkin' she's doin' family holiday festivites at the moment), but in the meantime, let me offer you this shot of Irish whiskey to make the wait a bit more pleasant.
