Okay, this is just like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Connect the one actor to someone from Firefly... anyone, in six 'degrees' or less. I'll start with an obvious one: Kevin Bacon.

Kevin Bacon was in Mystic River with Laurence Fishburne
Laurence Fishburne was in Matrix Reloaded with
Gina Torres! (plus he's married to her)

That was kind of a cop out, but you get the point.

discovered that almost anyone in
the galaxy can be linked back through
Adam Baldwin because he has worked
with *everybody.*

Well after trying NOT to use Adam Baldwin, I came up with this, which ended up being fewer degrees than my initial Adam Baldwin one:

Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Carribean with Orlando Bloom
Orlando Bloom in Black Hawk Down with Tom Seizemore
Tom Seizemore in Saving Private Ryan with Nathan Fillion

Nicolas Cage (figured it out as typing and it only took me 3 degrees)
