I agree Chris UFO is awesome. The theme tune is fantastic :) Also women with purple wigs and tight fitting catsuits do it for me everytime :)

UFO was british? Didn't much get into it, but I do remember the opening to the show with that silver car, the tacky british action music, and some fellow with white hair. Also the caption that flashed 1970 across the television screen. That show was out about the same time as The Prisoner, which I watched instead.

A movie that came out in the mid 80s called Brainstorm. Anyone heard of it? A remake is in order.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea! I'd like to see them remake that series. I luved the Seaview and that spiffy flying sub.

I have a t-shirt that has the recycle symbol on it with the saying "property of Soylent Green Biscuit Company" on it. I call it my "old nerd detector", because almost no one who wasn't alive during the 60's knows the reference. I think I will wear it Monday night during our shindig in Anniston, AL.
So who is he?
He's my husband.
Well who in the damn galaxy ain't!

Really? Was it just a name change, but they had the same characters, or was it just another undersea adventure story? Did they have a cool submarine called Seaview and a flying sub?
What I'm asking is Was this SeaQuest a REAL remake of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea? If so, how come I never heard of it?

A Logan's Run remake? I have heard bits and pieces about the original movie but a remake has me interested. I might go to Future Shop sometime this week and pick up a copy of the DVD. At last check, they're $7 each.

It's a really good film even though it was made in the 70s. I loved Sci-fi as a young girl and this movie sucks you in. Anyone here remember Starlog magazine? I have a lot of old issues dating back to the 70s.

Quote:No, just a reasonable facsimile. No connection to Irwin Allen.
