It's like some free software/website's ad banner. It is annoying as hell, but you'll live if that the way it HAS to be. But, I see nothing wrong with requesting to have it removed.
Now, if that ad banner contained bigotry and was non-responsive, it would be more annoying and prolly very offensive to some. ...and could possibly drive others away from the site/software.

I happen to care about alot of things that aren't exactly mainstream news, alot of the stuff thats happening and whats behind it that isn't talked about. I'm very out spoken on certain topics and I don't mince my words, I think thats were the comparison with P.N comes from, that and our names and we agree on alot of stuff. and for it we've both been labeled by the short sighted, and narrow of mind as crazy.
