Some of the stuff P.N says makes me cringe, but at the same time the way he words it, its funny too.(the humor gets me) which takes the sting out it. for some reason and I know this is weird, but it doesn't really come off as mean spirted,even though its wrong, and he does seem to be genuinely concerned!! I tend to ignore the flaming and just look at the information that he's presenting.[l] which happens to be very informative and interesting despite what the naysayers an narrow minded think!!

c'mon you have to admit commie, Nazi jew is sort of like an oxymoron it just sounds funny!!.

Also I think thats a bunch of B.S about P.N keeping people away from the RWD...

Nobody is stopping anyone from voicing their opinion or starting threads..if they are staying away its not because of P.N and his post.

We ask this question of him constantly and get the same ranting replies. Along with the same links, photos, etc.
There is a seed of truth in what he posts (after all, we all know that our respective governments are screwing us over), the objection of most people is the WAY he does it.
I have no great love for the state of Israel but that does'nt mean that all Jews are Satanic genocidal maniacs.
I have no great confidence in modern medicine but that does'nt mean that all doctors are trying to murder me.
Unfortunately this thread has given PN exactly what he wants from us: attention.
If he just posted a link and said "hey, this is interesting, go take a look" it would'nt get half the responses he does now.

I just have to state there is more then a seed of truth in the stuff that P.N post, actually there is alot of truth in some of the stuff he post, which is one of the main reasons why I like and enjoy his threads!!..I think this is what pisses some people off.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm thinking thats why it's funny to me. his perspective on some things can be viewed by some as extreme, and some of his wording objectionable, its like what choice do you have except to find the humor in it. Sometimes I think P.N represents his post in that manner to give it a very dramatic feel. you know to make it colorful. Which is why I think some find his threads so irresistable even though they claim not to have an interest in what he's saying.

Its like a car crash, you don't want to look but you just can't help yourself.

( P.N just wants to get the info out there) I totally understand that and commend him for it. his intentions are honorable and good even if he isn't )

I find it very interesting!!, and entertaining and we need that because the world is crazy enough!!

You're going too far, the logical conclusion to your argument is closing down mental health facilities and prisons, hey if the inmates murder someone their just expressing themselves and this is a free society after all.

There are limits even to freedom of speech, if someone is standing on the corner of a road screaming at everyone telling them Jews are evil and must die and threatening random passersby then frankly they have stepped over the line of what you can reasonably expect anyone to tolerate.

You're not advocating allowing PirateNews his right to free speech, he already has that on his website, you're advocating that in a free society we should all invite him round to tea.

Criminy, Citizen, this is a g.d. internet forum, any logic of my statement extends to this li'l cyber-community and no further. I'm not advocating anything about "mental health institutions" or "prison inmates." Don't you know me better than that by now? I'm simply advocating that we not tell somebody to shut up and go away, because that would reflect badly on us freedom-loving Firefly fans; our actions here, I think, oughta reflect our values and maybe even our best selves.

I consider this little sandbox a place to practice benevolence and personal integrity. It's easy to do that when the people we're dealing with have similar values to our own, it's harder when they don't. PirateNews harms you not at all and cannot and will not ever. Were he posting about his love of Firefly or Joss there would be no issue. Were he engaging in debate, again there would be no problem. However, his posts are full of hate and are only meant to incite.

I respect the right of the Ku Klux Klan to engage in free speech. Doesn't mean I have to go to the march and certainly doesn't mean I shouldn't do everything in my power to kick them out of my town.

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you, but I take issue with the idea that we should treat PN better than he would ever consider treating anyone else at all times.

PN would be Hitler if he was in charge of a country; I have no doubt in my mind. PirateNews uses every trick in the fascist’s cookbook and talks just like the man when Hitler had lost his power. He's a dictator without a Dictatorship.

PN turns up in the thread and that's it, time to leave because the previous conversation is over, it's PN crazy time now. He adds nothing but hate and incitement in the real world is not tolerated with "well we have to allow all viewpoints" so why here? He’s ruining the site for many, largely on purpose, why must we tolerate that? PN’s rights are more important than everyone else’s because PN’s the only person not willing to compromise?

We send trolls to Troll country and PirateNews is, essentially a Troll. So why should we treat him better? What makes this Troll so special?

And that is why I have more right to post here than PirateNews, I post here inorder to interact with my friends, other intelligent people and generally contribute. I may play rough sometimes but it is not why I come here.

PirateNews on the other hand comes here to sow discord, he comes here to spread hate, he comes here to harm us, by driving posters away, making it impossible to carry on a discussion and leaving only those who will suck up to him behind. He wishes to destroy this forum and remake it into the "make PN feel like a bigshot" forum.

This isn't merely a freedom of speech issue, PirateNews is a sociopath, sociopaths are locked up when they act in a socipathic manner, PirateNews is acting in a sociopathic manner, our only recourse would be to remove him from this forum in the same way a criminal is removed from society. If it makes you feel better we can give him a sentence after which he can come back, and if he then re-offends we'll give him another sentence.

Treat others how you want to be treated, fair enough PNs shown us how he wants to be treated, perhaps we should oblige him.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
And as you know, these are open forums, you're able to come and listen to what I have to say.

Hmmm, I'll always cheer for arguments against censorship. Apparently I misrepresented my intent. I'm just asking for a little common courtesy. If his posts were of reasonable length and frequency, and didn't load up my bandwidth with photos, I would have no complaint. I might even read them.
