Xena is currently #2 on the athlete site. Xena! That doesn't happen by every fan voting once and then going on their merry way.
This group of websites is specifically set up to allow you to vote every 5 minutes. There's not a single fandom out there who isn't voting as often as possible. Voting every 5 minutes, and have alliances with other fandoms (we have a strong and mutually beneficial alliance with INXS http://www.moosak.com/inxs and several of them have gone out and bought Firefly because of it) are the rules that everyone else is playing by. All these websites handle IP addresses really well, so I have no doubt that if the polls were designed for one vote per IP address, the sites would handle it as such.
Anyway... If you don't feel comfortable with it, that's fine. But we're having fun conversations over there, meeting new people, and showing other fandoms who we are. So anyone who is interested, come on by.

If we want to promote Serenity & Firefly we have to take full advantage of the way the rules are set up. If that seems like cheating to you, then feel free to sit idly by and watch as "Xena: Warrior Princess" gets made as the next Universal movie instead of our BDH's making a BDM2.

Just to make one thing clear.
The WHOLE PURPOSE of this poll is to vote as often as possible.
It's a sort of anti-poll, if a traditional poll is the sort where only cheats vote more than once. It's finding out who has the most rabod fans - i.e. who will actually bother to vote more than once. Lots more than once.
Does anyone care? I know not. But it's lots of fun. I'm finding it more fun than a game I was playing. And Browncoats are better than other fans, are they not? So - in a poll to measure rabidity, Browncoats should be the MOST rabid!

And the best way to vote as often as possible is to vote, disconnect your computer's online link, reconnect and vote again. I've voted 3-4 times per five minutes this way.
