EDITED TO ADD: 'Everybody Wang Chung Tonight' is the song Angel sings at Caritas. It is hilarious. I highly recommend picking up the series.

At Fly's blank stare, he mutters, "Economics. Sorry."
"Alberta? Never heard of that."
"Oh, I'm not surprised you haven't. There was that business with it seceding from the United Provinces of Canada in WWIII, and the viral outbreak in Edmonton during 2007...Canada's pretty unsung for Earth-That-Was countries."
"How come you know so much history?" Fly asks, leaning coolly against the wall. "Don't seem to be incredibly important, out here and right now."
"Studied it on Zenith." His short, almost brutal tone forces Fly to pursue the subject.
"Zenith...you grew up there. What was it like? Time I was there, nothin' but blood and dust."
"The towns were the worst. No law, bandits raping and looting...it was the sort of place where you had to grow up fast, or get trampled. My sister..." He trails off, eyes wistful and...glistening? He shakes his head, managing a brightly false smile. "Yeah, quite the place, Zenith. Too bad we didn't stop to take in the sights."
"That was where me and XIII grew up, the kind of 'watch my back I'll watch yours' friendship. Like I said before, rough place. Makes your definition of 'Border Moon' tame by comparison."
