So I was very board and looked up my birthday and found this:

Jubal Anderson Early (November 3, 1816 – March 2, 1894) was a lawyer and Confederate general in the American Civil War.

WHAT! Early has my birthday? Creeeepy! Did anyone else know he was a real person?

He's also a distant ancestor of Nathan Fillion's, I believe. Don't know wher I picked that up - over in Whedonesque somewhere, I think. Anyhow, I think I share Mal's birthday...

Yes Nathan is a descendent of Jubal Early. It's why they chose that name for the character... and hey at least you don't share a borthday with ...Hitler or something. It could be worse:)

Original Early was a lawyer. I'd argue that that is worse.
