I'm thinking the same things about the two sets of DVD's. I hate to say it, but they aren't always going to sell them so I'm thinking I need a backup set. Hmmm. Good idea!

The sales seem to be holding at a steady and respectable rate on Amazon. Especially for a series that did not even have half a season before being aborted.

I gave 4 DVD sets away as gifts over the holidays, and got one for myself. The idea to buy another as a backup is not a bad idea. Wouldn't hurt to have another in case something happens to the first one.

Have been thinking along the same lines. Got one problem though.

They're sold out here. Have haunted all the book/DVD stores in the area, and ain't seen the set since before Xmas.

Not sure I feel bad about that. It means they are sold out. Granted I can't get another copy, but if they sold out that quickly, that seems like a good thing for Firefly in general.

We bought another set yesterday at a Best Buy here in St. Louis. It was a surprise for a friend of ours that was in the hospital for surgery. He loved the series when it was on, and had NO IDEA that it was out on DVD. LOL. What a great surprise it was!

Oh, and the store had somewhere around 8, 9 copies in stock.
