Oh, Joss knew about the screenings. He was recognized by EqualityNOW back in May. Introduced by Meryl Streep, no less.

Check out his speech.

Little quesiton he knew. My suspicion is he was waiting until we were basically done before chiming in, to let this just be the fans' good work, standing on its own.

I agree with you, b!X. And I also think -- noting that he posted so soon after the event and reading between the lines -- that he is geniunely surprised at how well this event did and truly grateful. Think about it -- it will probably be in the $70-$80k range by the time it's all tallied. That is ALOT of money, by any standard. Far higher than I had originally estimated.

I am proud to have been a part of it. Thanks, b!X, for leading the way.

Thank you for all your hard work, B!x. It was an honor to take a part in it by attending our Austin screening.

Can we do it again next year? Please?

yeah we should make it a yearly event. We could start something that becomes an institution ( like rocky horror picture show only with a better movie and a charity to support)that would rock!

Which is not to say "don't even talk amongst yourselves". Heh.

There are a lot of notions flurrying about already, and in the main what I need to focus on is ramping up capacity on the CSTS site to be able to better serve the discussions.

B!x, you rock! In case I hadn't already said that.

And I'm sorry, but I ain't given up my marble
B!x calf statuary. It looks good adorned with flowers and with it's little offering tray of rice.
