Hello all, thank you for welcoming me so warmly.

Here's my q: does anyone have sheet music for the firefly theme song? I'm a violinist and I'd love to have it, but I can't learn by ear and I can't seem to find the sheet music...

Sometimes they don't publish it or don't think to, but just out of curiosity, if anyone has it or knows how to get it from a pc program...thanx!

I think that it is possible. If you save the theme as a midi file, a notation editing program can put it into notation for you. I know Sibelius 3 Definately does, and I think Finale 2004 does too. If you need it, I might be able to help.

If you go to download.com, you can probably find a program that can change music filetypes. With any luck, there is one that can change wav into midi. Do you need the wav file?

I was surfing today looking for penny whistle music to use with my Brownies, when I spotted a link to the Firefly theme tune. http://www.fullbodyburn.com/files/Set2/Firefly.pdf
I've had a go, but my fingering is not very good. It does sound OK though. Check out the line at the bottom of the page.

I don't know how easy it would be to transpose it to the violin.
