Again, are we talkin' the theatrical or Director's? There's a world of difference between the two...
Theatrical *
Directors ** 1/2*

But being a BIG DD fan from the past may have affected my judgement some...

I DO NOT CARE - I will watch Dolph Lundgren sift though garbage! As long as he does it with as LITTLE CLOTHING as possible!

Dare I put myself in harms way by saying I liked Michael Keaton as Batman?

Okay. I liked FF and DD.
I like bad movies, that must be it
I liked Firestarter and Flashdance and Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever and Supergirl and Judge Dredd and Serenity (I'm pretty sure that last one WAS a good movie, no matter what y'all say..).

I bailed on Christian; Keaton's key.

I preferred Keaton, thought he was good. Hated Kilmer and Clooney (nothing against the actors, but they're not Batman), Bale was pretty decent. Although Bale was probably truer to the original character in terms of the way he portrayed Bruce Wayne; Keaton did a sort of Clarke Kent version of Bruce Wayne.

Ok so honest to say I've not watched all too many Super Hero movies, But I rather liked Daredevil. Hated Hulk - it was all manner of lame. & Elektra was lacking in story, but then who watches Garner as Elektra for her fine acting & storyline. She's a hottie who's kicking tail...in Red.

I would also have to say major negations to the 2nd & 3rd Matrix movies, and I never saw Underworld II, but I loved the first. I just heard that the second was oversexed & overbloody.

I'm curious to see Ghost Rider.

and of course I have to say the only Batman movies that were likeable were the Batman & Batman Begins. The rest were pretty much throwaway. Though props to Jim Carey. Oh yeah & the "original" Batman movie "the shark is pulling our leg old chum.."

just thinking here.....yikes..... but everybody has differing tastes in things, for instance movies....
To me, the movie industry has pretty much bottomed out.... i can't really think of a memorable movie i've seen in a while... the whole crash and flash cgi was cool for about 1/2 hour - but with those you usually get no plot - or if the movie is too cerebral it winds up being too boring to sit through -

Now me - i can stand to watch bad movies - someone said Plan 9 from Outer Space - that was just so bad it was classic - i enjoyed Forbidden Planet for the same reason - so, i've cut way back on the movie theater entertainment - i've recently taken to foreign films (yes, with subtitles) just for a change of pace - Turner classics usually has the old stuff that just never dies (even colorized), and they're not making actors like Jimmy Stewart anymore....

so, whether we love em or hate em - we still watch em - and like i've heard said - "one man's trash is another man's treasure"

oh, and Dick Tracy really sucked, too

Haze- Ok I must disagree I think V is the most wonderful film! I will admit I've not read the comics but the acting is unbelievable. I've never seen anyone masked do such a job of being emotive that by halfway through the film you forget it's a mask and see it as his face. Seiously fabulous film ( though again I am not sure how representative it is of the comic)
