what's sad is... i actually watched these bombs... and probably enjoyed a couple at the time..... but even really bad movies are funny when you're in the "right" frame of mind"......

It could have been...better.
But it was a fun movie that made me lol.
I think my expectations were met, and yours were apparently higher than mine, that's all.

My turn to weigh in...

To the Browncoat that listed 'League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'. I strongly disagree.

To the BC that listed 'Buffy the Movie'. Yeah it was bad but that was kind of what made it funny!

To all the BC's that listed Daredevil... got room for another on your side of the thread? Shockingly bad, truly terrible. A round of applause to whoever mention the platypus! That would have been much more entertaining that Ben Affleck. (Wow I hate him!)

And I think at this point we all know where I stand on the X-3 issue (see the old thread for bashing aplenty!)

Are y'all talking about the theatrical release (which I truly disliked), or the Director's cut (which I truly LIKE)?

I have got one that is worse than anything mentioned so far....

Kiss meets the Phantom. Make no mistake, it was a superhero movie, where each of the 4 members of Kiss had a superpower and had to outwit so guy at an amusement park. God Awful Movie!

Speaking of Dolph Lungren's The Punisher is anyone else a bit weirded out by the fact that he's a Fulbright scolar with a masters from MIT in chemical engineering. How can someone so smart be unable to understand that he is really not a good actor??

You're only young once, but you can be immature any time!

Wow not many left to lambast really.

I must say though, Chrisisall, y'know I have the utmost repect for you fella, but Daredevil for me was about the most crudely put together piece of work I've seen in a long time... and I don't even hate Ben Afleck.

Personally I think the Superhero to cinema notion died a long time ago, with the 3rd Batman, whichever the one with Val Kilmer was?

Never a fan of any of the X-men films either. Wolverine prances around with teen angst, and just never moves on!

Presently we seem to be enduring a glut of CGI effected superhero films that have little to do with the characters they are based upon....So maybe I'll be able to contribute more later.

*grins, cackles and rubs hands* Flame-ON indeed.

No, see - I was forcibly dragged to the movie with no expectations. And it disappointed even those. Bad writing just slays me. BUT! To really throw gas on the fire:

I got to meet Jessica Alba when she was filming a movie at the college I attended . . .

. . .SHE'S NOT AS PRETTY IN PERSON! IT'S ALL AIR-BRUSHING AND FILM TOUCHING! BWAH-HAHAHAH!

No, I'm totally kidding. She was lovely and my male friends were drooling. Very gracious to the crowd, too. Came off as a very nice person and not a Hollywood nightmare.

I'll un-hijack the thread now. Apologies.

One day.
One plan.
One army of Browncoats.

On June 23rd, we aim to misbehave.

From Hell (Completely missed the point)

V for Vendetta (They made V a hero)

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (Where to begin?)

Judge Dredd (No only bad but it almost brought the future lawman down with it)

Batman and Robin (‘nuff said)

X-Men (No you are not the Juggernaut b*tch)

Who do you suppose is in there?
