Sheet Music (especially River's Dance)!

I've looked everywhere online, and I can't find official sheet music for River's Dance. I'm tyring to figure it out by ear, but that's slow going...does anyone have sheet music that they've found or written?

I haven't found any myself...but hopefully this little tip will help: I'm pretty sure it's a pre-existing song of some type.

When I was a junior in high school, not too long ago, learning about Puritan life (i.e., The Crucible), we watched a video. It may sound silly, but it was from Oprah - she agreed to join a puritan re-enactment community for some length of time.

Anyway, a song that sounded a HELL of a lot like River's Dance was playing as background music at one point. And the fact that it was played in conjunction with a video about Puritans make me think it's some kind of old folk tune, maybe from the early days of America.

Hopefully that'll narrow it down - or at least give us hope that it CAN be found!

Also, it was arranged on Firefly by Greg Edmonson, it is a "jig" the studio already had the rights to so chances are it has been used by others with some variations
