I saw Veritas, the Quest, and Miracles, and I guess I've been ruined for all other shows.

Veritas has potential, except that one way to fix the show was to lose the kid. The kid, was a major focus of the show though. There was a gratuitous shirtless scene which I didn't mind, but the kid took away from the whole Indiana Jones feel of the show. By the way, the kid was 17-18, so I don't feel too dirty

Miracles looks like X-Files with a religious slant, and while it looks good, I think it's too early to tell about this show. Good, but not great. Firefly isn't even on the map here by the way. Firefly is on another level so far above these guys that I can't compare it.

The intense subject matter is just stuff that fundimentalist christians would object to: questioning God, wondering if the devil is involved, etc. No nudity, no over the top violence.

Bottom line: I'll watch it, but won't get too upset if it gets cancelled.

WASH: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction.
ZOE: We live in a space ship, dear.
WASH: So?

I am not very informed about media---but I am looking for video or DVD of Nothing Sacred. I also thought it was a great show. Any ideas if they are available or if I could get some?

Sorry, I'd love to get hold of copies of the NS episodes too, but I'm not aware of them existing anywhere. Did a little searchin', and look like it's never been released on video or DVD.

Episodes of Miracles, including several that never aired (here or elsewhere, I'm not sure) are now available on the bit torrent network.

Try looking at www.suprnova.org

Exuse me? Im resenting the part where you said FireFly was both "gone" and having a "flicker of a chance"

do you not remember that it will very likly come to a theatere near you?

have you forgotten the outstanding DVD sales that are still selling like hotcakes?

well, I guess hot cakes involve flikkering flame, maybe I misjudged that

Um that's because the original message was posted in January 2003.

I just saw the first episode on Miracles on Monday night (Living TV has just started airing it in the UK) and it was very good. I think at least half the TV series I'm following at the moment have already been cancelled in the US!
