Would you be willing to give up all present and future TV shows for new Firefly episodes?

Can we keep our DVDs of other shows??
In which case - I would give up anything - even House - for seven years of Firefly.

But think of it, you get one show a week, watch it seven times, pop! Another show. For seven years.
I could definitly live on just Firefly (and my Dark Angel and Buffy on DVD, hee hee).

52 eps per year instead of a measley 22? Hell, I'm in!

My initial response was "NO." I enjoy a lot of other shows.
I enjoyed Serenity, but not nearly as much as Firefly. I felt several of the characters were off in comparison with Firefly.
But then I got to thinking about how many times I rewatch any shows that I have on DVD (LOST, Dark Angel, Monk, Seinfeld, The L Word). Then I thought about how many times I have rewatched my favorite episodes of Firefly and laughed at the same line I've heard 9 times before or caught something subtle that I had missed 9 times before.
I definately changed my mind. I vote "YES." I'd miss LOST the most, but I'd get by OK.

One thing I meant to write but forgot:
I'd be a lot happier with my choice if the seven seasons picked up after the first, and pretended that Serenity never happened b/c Serenity contradicts Firefly, most notably with Simon's rescue of River.
And it just wouldn't be the same without Wash. I could live without Wash. Shows that are willing to kill off popular characters seem to ring more true. It's dangerous out in the black. But I'd miss him.

Of course. I've re-watched the 4 FF DVD's and Serenity more times than any other TV show and/or movie. Firefly is the first TV show that I rented first, watched, and immediately went out and bought just so I could re-watch them all again whenever I wanted. Same thing with Serenity.
Yes, I have the 1st 2 seasons of Northern Exposure, but that was before I signed up for Netflix.
I like other shows (24, The Unit, etc.), but none of them have the writing, dialog, characters, actors, special effects, plot lines, etc., etc., and etc., of Firefly.
If Firefly was brought back, I'd hope that other writers and networks would strive to improve their shows.
It has a name, I call it Vera.

Okay, if I could still watch the Cubs (what can I say? I'm a masochist) and other sports, and if the other TV would come back after 7 years, so Joss could come up with another great show, then I'm in.
Uh, now what? Where do we sign?
