Train Job June 17th at 2pm, Metro's lil lightrail train looks very similar to the trian from trainjob so lets fill it with browncoats! This is one of our most popular events and a great chance to spread the word about the Lonestar shindig!
We meetup at the Southern most stop
Fannin South at W. Bellfort this is a park and ride location if you prefer you can try and join us from a later trainstop, but meeting us at the first stop is the easiest way to find us. I strongly suggest arriving early so you do not get left behind.
Here is the entire train line

all day lightrail pass $2
Parking $5 ?
Heres how it works, first train after 2pm is our ride into downtown Houston we will ride it to the second to last stop (Preston) and then walk up to The Spagetti Warehouse (901 Commerce Street in downtown Houston) have a late lunch as a group and do some last minute brainstorming for the Lonestar shindig all ideas are very welcome.
Then after lunch we pile back on the train and ride back, often times some folks get off and spend the afternoon at the museums or wander around downtime, the majority of us ride back to the park and ride often times a cunning hat is whipped out and we burst into song.
We are encouraging folks to bring their spare change, our expenses are not met yet, we are getting closer to it but with less than two weeks to go, any spare change would be very much appreciated to fund the get our guests to the con fund ( Greg Edmonson and Cedric's expenses). Several of us are getting stretched pretty thin trying to cover all the bases any help is appreciated folks. Also, if your not comfortable handing over cashy money (though if you do you totally get to play with the crybaby and make it light up) we will have a sign up list for who is bringing what (munchies, ice, coolers, plates, sodas companions.. (just kidding) you get the idea ).
Food and drinks will be available in the shindig room for the run of the con. WE are this years hosts lets show everyone one mighty fine shindig!

We have actually had one browncoat move to Houston as a result of wanting to join our shindigs... I kid you not, Jayneschick moved here from up North, she said Hey I want to move down there and shindig with you guys help me find a job and somewhere to live, so we found her a job and a place to live.
hey and you dont have to live here.. just come visit us, if you ever find yourself in our neck of the woods, www.houstonbrowncoats.com give us a heads up and we will use it as an excuse to throw a shindig :)
this is our 4th train job, and our first time Hosting the Annual Lonestar shindig (Texas meetup) last year Austin hosted :)

Shiny!
Don't know that I would ever be down there for any reason other than to give you an excuse for a shindig, though
Might have to look into that.
