We are indeed,
someday maybe there will be more enlightened folks... Not only will they not shop at WalMart but Firefly and Serenity will be #1 in sales. Ok daydream over. And seven years PhoenixRose you're awesome! I'm only at a proud four myself.

I guess I can see why they would sticker that; though I'm not sure a kid would understand all of it. Not a very happy song, is it?
Lol no its not his most cheerful song! I think the most depressing line is 'Sometimes all you ever need is never really quite enough you know' which makes real sense to me. Is that scary?
That's what makes Springsteen such a brilliant artist - he can hammer out classic feel-good songs with a 10 person band and then produce something like this just with himself and an acoustic guitar.

Well, it's not so much censored I dislike, as different.
In Shrek, John Cale sang "Hallelujah", and it was totally great. The film was good enough, but that just stopped me dead in my tracks.
When the soundtrack came out, Rufus Wainwright was singing it.
I know it's the most covered song ever, and Rufus did a good job, but John Cale's version is so stark, I'd always listen to him instead. And the kicking he gave "Heartbreak Hotel"...? It redefined it, more than somewhat.
In "Your Cheatin' Heart", Tilda Swinton's screen version of "From a Distance" was utterly stunning. Eddie Reader did it on the soundtrack. Damn good, but not the same
