"You landed in my life Like a new and brighter light
That made all my past seem in shadow
I always used to believe That beauty was skin deep
But I need a new word to describe you
And the time that it took to take down the wall
Was the time that it took for me to fall
Hopelessly weak.

Please tell everyone about the screening! I will be in Charlotte tonight for a concert and I plan to wear my Browncoat shirt. If anyone asks or comments on the shirt I have a stack of flyers to hand out.

I just went by the theater today to have my first look. It's not posh or anything but it's in a good location. The manager is sooooo unbelievably nice. And, if we can sell at least 200 tickets, they'll give us their biggest theater which is completely separated from the rest. That means we can do basically whatever we like outside in the hall. Otherwise we'll have to operate out of the main lobby and keep the whole thing low-key.
And I so desperately want to celebrate this auspicious occasion. I hope everyone is buying their tickets.

I also went by Sir Edmond Halley's Pub today. Excellent idea for an after-party there! That place was cool. And the manager was really nice. She said they would be glad to have us come over after the movie. I wasn't planning on sticking around but after seeing the pub, I think I might just have to.

that pub is one of my favourite places anyway. Haven't been there in a while though. glad you'll be joining us. It is an old theatre, but recently remodled. great place for us. I remember my eldest brother getting me out of school early to go stand in lines that wrapped around that theatre for movies like temple of doom and empire strikes back.

Well, I can't wait to go because somebody *coughJadehandcough* has been talking about how great Sir E's is for so very long now.

And it'll be even better when jammed packed full of browncoats!

I am gonna try like hell to make the trip all the way from Kannapolis. Sure it doens't sound like much but I tend to get a little cranky when I don't know exactly where I am going.

I did get directions from my trusty Google Earth so hopefully things will go smoothly.

Singate - I'm with you, I hate getting lost. When I went to the theater, I just stayed on I-77 to Woodlawn. Then I took Woodlawn over to Park Rd. You can either turn left on Park or go straight over Park to the next stoplight and turn left. The Park Road Shopping Center is right there on the corner. There may be shorter routes, but that was the easiest way to not get lost.
I'm glad you're going to join us. We'll see you there!
