Ok I'll try Inara, if anyone else steps forward for her, I can let them have it--I'm not sure how good I'll be at this, plus, reading it's just as much fun!~
Inara's turn
Inara stares around, dark eyes wide with concern. she had just been finishing her bathing ritual, when the floor took on a decidely odd tilt. Well, that didn't feel right--did we just make a hard turn?
She stands up slowly, rearranging her wrap over her still-damp body. I hope everything's ok....
walks out of her shuttle, heading for the helm

Stumbles onto the Bridge rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
" What the gorram hell is this about Serenity Valley? Ain't nothin' of no value left in that god forsaken crater. Badger's gonna git us good and dead muckin' around in that graveyard. Alliance still got pressence in that area and I aint exactly keen on meetin' up with a patrol, at least not until I got cold hard currency in my pocket for it... "

..WASH'S MOVE
Wash glances up to Zoe. "Y'want me to leave Lou behind? Lou saved me from River! He took a bullet for me, I can't let'm down!" Wash locks his steel blue with her chocolate eyes. Frighteningly serious. "Would you leave a friend behind, lover?"
Wash then looks back at Mal, and is suddenly puzzled. "How come everybody's got their heads back all the sudden?"
Ship hasn't changed trajectory or speed, but at least now it's not going any faster. Serenity is still heading outside the outer rim, towards a star no one's been to before, and might I add will be approaching what's widely considered to be Reaver space very shortly.
We're not quite there yet. Just getting close.

OOC: I thought Niska & Early had been on our bough? Aren't they in pursuit, or was their message from a greater distance and therefore not in real time?

Book turns and leaves the bridge, bumping Jayne on the way out. Passing by Inara as she walks unconcernedly up the fore stairway, Book makes quick time to the infirmary in search of Simon.
OOC Not sure how far out they were when they contacted us... but close enough for video to work.

MAL:[Looks to Niska on monitor] Says to Niska:"When you and your girlfriend there feel like getting to the point, you go ahead on and give me a wave. 'Till then, I got matters to attend. F.O.A.D. for now!!" [Turns off monitor and looks at Wash] Says to Wash:"Wash? Wash!![Grabs Wash by collar] Says to Wash:"I know you're tired, but I need Serenity put back on course. NOW!!" [Turns to Zoe] Says to Zoe:"We don't have much of a choice as to jobs. If I had my druthers we'd never set foot on that rock again. But things bein' as they are, we need the coin! Soon as Wash gets us back on course, I want the Doc to give him something. Sleeping pills, warm milk, I don't care what, just so's he gets Wash to sleep awhile. Then, Zoe, you, me and Jayne need to figure on what we're gonna to do once we arrive on Hara."[Turns to Jayne] Says to Jayne:"We got a job to do like as not, I aim to do it! Might be that we're gonna be headin' into trouble on this run Jayne. How're we situated ammo-wise?"END TURN.

Inara's turn
Inara continues up the stairs into the bridge, passing Sheperd Book on the way--Nihao, Sheperd, and how are you today? Is there anything amiss? The Sheperd keeps moving down the hall toward the infirmary, unhearing.
Well! perhaps it was just me...I'll just..she trails off as she reaches the bridge and notices Zoe and Wash, glaring at eachother...Wash with a bit of a glazed look about him.
She glances up at the viewport, and sees only the blankness of unfamiliar space. Ai ya! Am I missing something here, or are we a bit more off-course than usual?
