Is it bad to like angst as much as I do? I mean seriously, I live for it. I get so bored with the fluffy. I can take fluffy for a minute and then something angsty, dramatic or action packed has to happen.
I don't know why I'm posting this except I've never started a thread before and I guess I wanted to start one. That and I wanna know if I'm just totally disturbed or if people are as angsty as me.

...nothing epitomizes angst like a sterofom cup discarded along the highway of life....

I'm pretty angsty...although the 'Life On-Board Serenity' thread has been recieving some fluffy posts from Mr. 13..
Stones *are* good for that.

I love angst. I love fluffy too, though.

That there is poetry.

Anyway, I'm with you. Love angst, though I sometimes have a hard time reconciling myself with it.
So, this is a question that probably shouldn't be asked, it being too personal and bound to lead icky places. But I'm curious, and it is the great anonymous internet: I myself did not have the best childhood, and sometimes I wonder if that's why I like to read angst. It vents bad feelings, and is so uplifting to see characters overcome trauma.
Any opinions on this?
