Oh god don't say that. Go out and read the book, read it now. Buy the whole trilogy (all five books and the short story) read it.

I've got nothing against the movie but if that is the only way you know the guide then it's like you only know Serenity by watching the previews, you're missing so much.

I never got a chance, actually. About to buy it, but then I inherited some extra sf. Now...

I'm still busy digging through all of Spider Robinson's stuff, half of Andre Norton, and re-acquainting myself with Heinlein.

And sharpening up on Phil Jose Farmer.
